The archive grew out of my own studies of Van Gogh and the need for a practical way to preserve, organize, and retrieve the information I encountered across his letters, artworks, museum collections, and scholarly research. I offer it here as a living research resource and will continue to expand it as new information is identified.

Particular care has been taken to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information presented and, wherever possible, to trace it to primary or authoritative scholarly sources. Nevertheless, errors, omissions, or incomplete references cannot be entirely excluded. If you notice an inconsistency, error, or relevant source that is missing, please contact me.
